Old IHC Controller to Home Assistant

Sorry for posting in english, I do not speak danish at all :-)

I have integrated the old style IHC Controller (no ethernet, RS485 only) to Home Assistant. The code can be found at https://github.com/priiduonu/ihcclient. Comments and PR-s welcome!

Nice work, I am shure  there Will be People that miss this and Will use it. Especially now when new controller is discontinued and people want to integratie lights to smarthome (HA). Then they Can use the old one instead of bying a new one.

I'm trying to add your integration to my Home assistant setup but it's not going too well. I can't figure out how to install pyyalm and the other pip packages, I'm trying to do it through Terminal. I cannot get the USB input where the USB converter is mounted name given.

Hi,

It is hard to guess the cause of these problems without any additional information. Just a blind assumption - make sure you are a root user (or use sudo) when installing the pip packages.

Also - please note I am not an active user in this forum (still do not speak danish :-), so please use github for issues.
